Demand Solutions Group provides a library of DSG Powered Value Maximizers – highly functional and robust value-added solutions for NetSuite, Salesforce and Intacct customers.  These DSG Powered Value Maximizers were conceived and developed over the course of 100+ On Demand implementation projects, some based on customer feedback, others based on DSG looking for faster, more efficient and consistent ways to execute these projects. DSG provides these modules for purchase or as a subscription service.

DSG Powered Installed Base
A company’s installed customer base is an increasingly valuable asset in today’s recessionary economy. To effectively manage and leverage the potential of high-margin and low cost of sale cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within their installed bases, many companies need to track which of their products a customer has bought and implemented including the purchase date; serial number; warranty expiration date; service contract dates, terms and renewals specifics and where the product is located. This is commonly referred to as Installed Base Tracking and is typically not well supported in most On Demand systems.

DSG has developed a series of modifications for both NetSuite and Salesforce which supports this functionality and, in the case of NetSuite, can also provide comprehensive serial number tracking through the life of a product. DSG Powered Installed Base provides very sophisticated tracking capabilities that can help you leverage your installed base for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, entitlement checking, warranty recall and serial number tracking, without resorting to programming, extracts and complex analysis. Consisting of two versions with or without Service Contracts, the right version is available for your needs.

DSG Powered Eval Unit
In today’s competitive sales world, many organizations will not buy a new technology solution without first evaluating that product in their own environment. From a vendor perspective, supporting this type of demonstration or evaluation transaction requires a complex process that goes well beyond tracking the shipping and location of the demonstration unit. Typically companies need to track and document the agreed evaluation timeframe and criteria; deal with the financial implications of company owned inventory residing on a prospective customer site; how to transition the product from demonstration to sold status, and lastly supporting the customer's installation and usage of the product during the critical demonstration period.

Based on best in class business practices that we have evolved over the years, DSG has developed a series of modifications and configurations which directly support Demonstration Unit functionality in both NetSuite and Salesforce.com.

DSG Powered Recurring Campaigns
Campaigns provide an effective tool to push information to your customers or to request feedback or information from your customers. Working with NetSuite's campaign functionality, DSG offers an enhancement that allows you to define a campaign, the target audience set up the frequency in which you would like to execute the campaign and forget about it!

DSG Powered Recurring Campaign allows you to specify the start and end date of a campaign period, the period between executions and the frequency that you would like to execute the campaign. Once this is established a campaign execution schedule is established automatically and the campaign will execute against that schedule.

An example would be executing an automated survey addressed to clients that have contacted your support organization in the last 2 weeks. The survey could be set to run Monday through Friday every week for the year. You as the survey administrator no longer have to remember to setup the campaign event and execute it weekly; this also allows you to contact people that interact with you during the week versus waiting until the end of the week.

DSG Powered Inventory Received Not Billed
DSG offers a new productivity tool for companies that manage inventory, and want better visibility on purchase price variance. NetSuite tracks inventory that has been received, and not yet billed through an account called Inventory Received Not Billed. This account contains an accumulated balance for items that have been received and for items’ corresponding vendor bills. The DSG Powered Inventory Received not Billed tool allows the easy identification of purchase price variances, and simplified reconciliation of the Inventory Received Not Billed account. If you carry inventory, this utility can save you significant time and also ensure that your balance sheet correctly reflects your inventory.

DSG Powered Resource Plan & Manage
The NetSuite Advanced Project module is a fantastic module but for many users this solution is too functionally rich. Many of these users are looking for a simple easy to use solution that allows the planning of resources against service jobs including allocation, utilization and estimated effort. Some of these same users are also looking for a simple monitoring solutions to make sure that the hours allocated are not exceeded by the hours delivered. For these users the DSG Powered Resource Plan & Manage solution will provide just that. Without the requirement of the Advanced Project Tracking module, customers can very simply plan and monitor their resources across their service jobs to effectively run their services organization.

DSG Powered Refurbishment
Many organizations take warranty returns, refurbish them and then send them back out as replacements for warranty failures.  The NetSuite solution does not easily support this activity.  Most organizations require that this process be tracked both for financial purposes and for overall operations logistics. Doing so will ensure that inventory is accurate and up to date, the cost of parts and labor used in the refurbishment are properly captured, and these costs can be readily segmented by item or customer to facilitate profitability analysis.

DSG Powered has developed a solution that encompasses the entire warranty and refurbishment process, from the moment customer support gets a call from a customer thru the receipt of the defective unit, shipping the customer a replacement unit, and capturing the cost of refurbishing or scrapping the returned unit. All the transactions are captured in real time, so inventory and financial impacts are accurate, and these impacts can readily be segmented by item or customer.

DSG Powered Technology Appliance Company
The industry trend towards appliance based solutions is well-established but, until now, there have been no solutions available that address the complex, tightly integrated needs of appliance companies. For example: manufacturing, sales and support are usually outsourced; selling often involves the loan and tracking of evaluation or demonstration units; support is extremely critical during the pre-sales as well as the post-sales phase; installed base must be tracked in detail and all of these needs must be met in a way that scales as the company moves through its various stages of development.
